On February 20, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a Valentine's Day-themed Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Meeting at the ZTAC Multipurpose Room. A huge thank you to all the presenters and parents who took the time to attend and participate in this wonderful event!
✨ Meeting Highlights:
▪️Lourdes Lopez PHPS/CHW & Elvia Solis LVN (Texas Department of State Health Services) shared an informative presentation on the importance of vaccination. 💉
▪️Mr. Rogelio Gonzalez (ZCISD Human Resources Director) addressed immigration concerns affecting our district.
▪️Mrs. Dahlia Garcia (ZSE Principal) provided exciting updates on Zapata South Elementary. 🏫
▪️Dr. Yesenia Garcia (ZCISD Director of Special Education Services) presented on the Special Education objective, Child Find. 👩🏫
▪️Mrs. Elma Lopez (Director of Elementary Education) gave us valuable insights into the bilingual program. 🌎
