The ZCISD Migrant Education Program took their migrant students to Laredo to purchase clothes and have a nice meal at a local restaurant as part of the supplemental services that are offered to migrant students.

On Thursday, February 16th, a group of GEAR Up students from ZHS attended the National Manufacturing Expo 2023 at UTRGV. Students toured the campus, met with professors, scientists and engineers getting information on the fields of manufacturing, AI, Autonomy and UAVs. They also had the pleasure of listening to a Q&A session with the Honorable Ms. Heidi Shyu (Under Secretary of Defense for for Research and Engineering)

ZCISD Migrant & Title I Parental Advisory Council (PAC) was held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the ZTAC on Hwy. 83.

The nation's only live, online entrepreneurship program made just for girls has come to Zapata County Independent School District.

Parents, teachers, staff and community members gathered on January 11, at the Community Center for the opportunity to share their input about learning at Zapata County ISD.
